Heat-Line Commits $25,000 to Local Healthcare as Part of New Corporate Giving Program
Celebrating Generosity on National Philanthropy Day
Haliburton, ON – In celebration of National Philanthropy Day, the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHS Foundation) is proud to announce a generous commitment from Heat-Line Freeze Protection Systems, a local company that has pledged $25,000 over the next five years in support of local healthcare.
Observed each year on November 15, National Philanthropy Day recognizes the impact that generosity, compassion, and community spirit have on building stronger, healthier communities. It is a day to celebrate those who give of their time, talent, and resources, and to acknowledge how philanthropy touches lives every single day.
This contribution from Heat-Line perfectly embodies the spirit of the day, reflecting the company’s roots in the Haliburton Highlands and its ongoing commitment to supporting local healthcare and the broader community. The family-founded company, now carried forward by the next generation, is making a long-term commitment that marks the launch of the HHHS Foundation’s new Corporate Giving Program.
“Our company has always believed in giving back to the community that helped us grow,” said Matthew Roberts, President of Heat-Line. “Together with Laura Roberts and Brent Heise, we are proud to support the HHHS Foundation and to help strengthen access to care for everyone in the Highlands.”
Through this new program, HHHS Foundation aims to engage businesses who wish to make a longer-term commitment to the health of the community, businesses that, like Heat-Line, recognize the value of giving back and leading by example.
“We’re fortunate to have a community of businesses that consistently give back, each in their own way, and their continued generosity is vital,” said Melanie Klodt Wong, Executive Director of the HHHS Foundation. “Our new Corporate Giving Program offers an opportunity, for those looking to make a sustained investment in healthcare and to share that commitment with their clients, staff, and the wider community.”
There are many ways to give this holiday season, and now, this program offers one more meaningful way for local businesses to make a lasting impact.
